Why, as the years go by

Through numerous soothing sleeps,

For the same sunset still she weeps?

Why does she look upon the night sky,

Dazzled by the light from the star that dies

A million years ago before her eyes?

Haunted by the tunes of lullabies,

There lie memories that weigh

Too much. People say

Time heals. There is beauty in waiting

For an ending more or less devastating.
